WebIS has now released an updated version of their easy-to-use audio recorder Note2Self. Note2Self makes it easy to quickly record a voice note, save it and/or automatically send it to any email address without needing to push a single button.

This new version, 1.11, brings the following improvements-

-Location Tagging
-Shake recording
-Note naming and reordering

I love the fact that good apps are now being regularly updated so that they become even better apps. Case in point- Now Playing (aka Box Office).

The new update makes a couple of meaningful tweaks that make an incredibly useful app even better.

First, they have improved communication between the iPhone and the Now Playing server so that it works faster and better for everyone but especially for iPhones using an Edge connection.(Translation- it’s faster.)

Apple has banned the comic book iPhone app Murderdrome, its creators claim. This adds to a growing list of titles that have been banned from the App Store for one reason or another, including Tetris clone Tris, lightsaber emulator PhoneSaber, and the “bling” app I Am Rich. It is keep on coming better and better. Within weeks Softbank announce yet an other price cut in its monthly minimum fee making the iPhone 3G cheeper. As we reported in our post New Softbank Prices for iPhone 3G Japan Softbank lowered the monthly fee from 8,240 Yen to 3,950 Yen on 11 August.
