xCube is a virtual Cube, rubic cube. The lite version has a 2×2x2 cube. Once you start xCube the cube is random mixed. Swipe the finger across to rotate the slice left, right, up or down. The function is easy and good.

The big difference is not to have the cube in its hands and be able to turn it any direction one likIn xCube it is not possible to rotate the cube itself, only a top or bottom view is offered.

The game is fun, can challenge the players ability to imagine what the colors are on the sides not visible and allows to view past moves.

Unfortunate it is not possible to “save” or pause a game and leaving the application. If the player is not good at solving the cube it can be frustrating, unfortunate when a call comes in – which sometimes might happen and serves as a reminder it is an iPhone and not an iPod touch.

xCube Lite is free in the app store and its there to get the gamer to buy the full version.
