Travel Oversea with my iPhone

Taking my iPhone for the first time oversea, travelling Europe.
Landing in Frankfurt, Germany I switched the iPhone on and it connected without any problems tow carrier. In my case Vodaphone.
I made my first call without any problems, as easy as home. Since I really don’t need my iPhone for calls, but rather for Internet I decided to leave the iPhone 3G in airplaine mode with WiFi connection on. For making calls I just have to switch airport mode off, connect with a carrier and place the call. When done I switch back to airplaine mode.
To get mail I only need WiFi and the mail app. I update manuel my mail and writing mail is also very convient, like home.

All over I am very happy right now. I only wished to have tested the mail app and my mail accounts before leaving. It turns out I miss a password and to recover it proves difficult.
Against this problem you are smart to use 1password app. More about it in my next post.
