Right now I am currently on a family plan with 4 people. We share minutes and have unlimited texting for the whole family. I have a razr right now and it cost $10 a month. Would it just cost $30 per month if i upgrade to the iphone 3g?

It would cost the $9.99 for the secondary line plus $30 for the iPhone data plan. The unlimited texting feature will also cover the iPhone as long as it is the Family messaging feature
It would still cost 9.99 for the line. That won’t change. However, you must have the mandatory iPhone 3G data plan at $30.00 per month. That would bring your line to a grand total of 39.99 per month.
