The group analyzed data from over 16.8 million unique iPhones and iPod touch units browsing over 7,000 mobile sites and using over 2,500 different ad-toting apps over the course of June.

If I were still a child, my mom would have given me a good sermon on why I kept that iPod touch in the pocket and ran out to dance in the rain? BTW, I wasn’t dancing in the rain and lucky that I was no more a child when I drenched myself and of course my iPod that fateful day in a twister like rain. America is wetter than ever in decades! Fortunate that I switched off the unlucky iPod before getting drenched, nevertheless, there was no possibility that water had not sipped into it because I was as wet as a cat.

Apple has just released its earnings’ report for its 3rd quarter, which ended June 27th, and…well…Apple is just rolling in the good stuff. Cupertino has actually reported the best earnings for a non-holiday quarter in its entire history.

I know this write up is going to be an offbeat, nevertheless, it’s good to take a wild plunge once in a while.  You all know that battery life of all smartphones do not last long if you are a heavy user. That’s what we call smartphone dilemma. The iPhone 3GS , which Apple claimed is exceptional isn’t an exception at all. You can’t simply go hiking for days and expect the battery to last as long as you wish.  There, I am going offbeat again.
