What Is Better To Get The Ipod Touch Or The New Iphone 3g S?

The new iphone 3G S has more features then the ipod touch but I dont want to use the phone part. You can get a 32 gb new iphone for $300 or a 32 gb ipod touch for $400. Is it even possible not to use the phone part on the iphone? Thanks.

If you get the iPhone 3G S, you will get a much cheaper price, but you will be locked into paying AT&T $30 a month extra! No extra monthly fees with an iPod touch.
Considering what evry1 else has said, get the iTouch, who cares about video, unless u hav some YouTube web show, but if i were u i’d stick with the iTouch *IF* it comes with free global (without Wi-Fi) InTeRnEt. Otherwise, get rid of ur phone and get the iS (iPhone 3G S)
if you don’t want the phone part, why buy iphone? if you buy it without a phone plan it will be much more expensive and the only actual difference from the ipod is its camera and speaker. ipod is slimmer too.
If you get the phone itself without a plan/”phone part” then it will usually run you about 600-700 dollars.
iPhone
It has the features of the touch plus a camera plus a phone
and cheaper
phone itslef if you buy cost like 450 plus tax.
