How Do I Forward Text Messages With My 3g Iphone?

When I receive a text or send one. I like the option to be able to forward my messages to some other friends or family. Not exactly sure how to do this with my iphone 3G.

Unfortunately this is another thing which Apple left out of the iPhone. The only way you could do this would be to remember it exactly or write it down and type it back out into a new message. However hopefully this feature will be introduced soon with the 2.1 firmware which could include forwarding of text messages or the ability to copy and paste which would let you do the same thing. The earliest you could get 2.1 would probably September 9th when there is the apple event but there is no way of saying for certain
