im getting a iphone 3g and was wondering what t mobile internet plan would work with the iphone? If you can post a link that would be nice. since there is no 5.99 web plan do people no use the 9.99 web2go? how do you get it to work on 2.2.1?

    The actual phone settings for ATT and Tmobile are completely different for the internet. Any unlocked phone has this issue. It doesnt matter if you are using the iPhone or any other devices.
    Also, before dropping money or time on the iPhone 3g, you may want to look into how Apple handles unlocked iPhones. Expensive paperweights is probably the most polite way to put it.

    although the 3g networks are not the same, you ARE able to use t-mobile service with it. if you have the 5.99 web to go you are set, however they really dont offer that anymore since its a grandfathered plan, so unless you are lucky and have that pre-existing account sub category the only one that will work is the 19.99 internet.

    nope the iphone 3g is incompatible wit the tmobile 3g… yes it sucks…..att 3g and tmobile 3g dont use the same frecuencies….
    tho u can use the EDGE which is slower then 3g its like as if u were using the first iphone…. go and search on google “iphone on tmobile data”…
