I wanted to buy an iPhone 3G, but I want to know how much I have to pay when I walk into the Apple Store. I want the 16 GB one, so I already know it’s $299. But, I wanted to know if I would have to pay for the plan when I go in.

i found this pretty cool website, http://www.cellsware.info/iphone . if you put in your zip code, it’ll tell you the prices for the new iphone in your local stores and how much it would ccost on the internet including shipping. if you want you could enter the sweepstakes that’s there but you probably wouldn’t wanna spend the time.

I think that there is an activation fee but it should not be more than $360 total with the phone and activation fee
Depending on your credit, there might be a deposit. Also, I’m sure ATT is tacking on an activation charge.
