I am highly considering buying an iphone and i would like to know how much of a difference is there between them?
Like is there so much of a big difference and improvement that its worth paying more money.
Oh , and I heard that there was no video recorder on the Iphone 3g , but like can you download one or something because im really surprised about that because that is a basic feature :S … and i record alot of videos.

The 3GS is 2 times faster then the 3g

I forgot this other feature but if you go apple.com. There is a page were you can compare both of the iphones.
Also there is no way to put a video recorder in the 3G. I know it sucks but oh well. lol.
If your on a budget, get the 3G. If you have enough money for the 3GS buy it. Its totally worth it. Its a dramatic difference.
Hey there, the 3GS is basically the new version of the 3G. It looks exactly the same as the original iPhone 3G but adds some nice extras. The camera has been upgraded to a 3 megapixel unit with auto focus, touch focus and support for video recording at 30 frames per second (which’ll be of interest to you!). There is also a built-in compass which neatly integrates with Google Maps, rotating the map as the iPhone faces a different direction.
The latest iPhone OS 3.0 is installed, which adds a long list of new features and software improvements such as copy & paste, shake to undo, MMS, stereo Bluetooth, landscape keyboard, system-wide search, Wi-Fi auto-login, support for YouTube accounts and more. The battery on the 3GS has also been improved. It was already pretty good, but it now has up to 12 hours talk time, 30 hours audio playback or 10 hours video playback.

well on some it is a basic with some phones but the new palm pre does not offer video recordining either.
the diff. is that the s is 2x faster, has compass that helps with a gps. 16gb over the 8gb for starters. video record and edit, touch to focus camera that has been upgraded to 3.2mp, voice control, and new bluetooth.
there is no recorder on the g and no there is no download for one. you would have to jailbreak the phone. just but the 3gs it is worth the 100
While, the Iphone 3GS is faster than the 3G if this is your first Iphone than I would advise you get the Iphone 3G as it’s cheaper and is fast enough. There is video camera capabilities with the Iphone 3G if you jailbreak it.
For one the price. The camera is awesome difference and there is a video recorder in the 3gs. Internet use is drastic and the battery is much better. I love my new iphone!! Plus the size is a lot bigger.
