Are you talking about an aol email account.
What you need to do is go to settings, mail contacts and calendars. If your account is there tap on it.
Then select delete account.
This will not affect emails in your inbox.
Then select add account select aol if it is aol In fact.
If not aol select other.
If it’s aol just enter your info and it should be fine.
But for other you need a few other bits of info.
Such as an incoming mail server (which can be obtained by going to google and typing “incoming mail server for ((insert your ISP))”)
same for the outgoing mail server.
If it lists the server port number grab those and enter them in the correct space.
Examples of mail servers:
incoming – pop.(ISP).net port 25
outgoing – smtp.(ISP).net port 487
