I was wondering if i should get an ipod touch 2g or an iphone 3g, as i like the games on ipod/iphone however i have heard the ipod is faster at loding apps and it is more smooth. Please help thanks.

I have a 2g ipod touch, and it is fast and nice to use. Personally I would get the ipod touch over the iphone because if you loose your iphone, its just like loosing your phone, and your ipod at the same time. Also the ipod is thinner, and if you want to try to jailbreak it, if incase for some reason it does mess up. its just your ipod, and you can just restore it, and just loose your songs. Where as if your iphone was jailbroken and messes up, you will loose pretty much your whole life that is one it like contacts and stuff. lol.
If the price of the contract isn’t a problem and you don’t have a phone already, then the iPhone would be better. The iPod touch was faster and smoother, but the iPhone now has 3GS processor, which is supposed to be…faster and smoother. Plus the phone has the data package that is better than looking for wifi hotspots.
So if you already have a phone, get the iPod touch. If you don’t yet have a phone, get the iPhone. I have the iPhone and iPod touch, and I hardly use the touch…
