Where is the “Device List” in iTunes? I downloaded the “Remote” app for my iPhone 3G but cant add my phone to my itunes library because i cant find the Device list…

when you plug in your phone into itunes it always pops up on the left of itunes-open up remote with your phone UNPLUGGED and make sure itunes is open, you should see a choise of itunes libraries on your phone….just do this:
-step 1-open itunes
-step 2-make sure your phone is unplugged from the computer
-step 3-open the remote app on your phone
-step 4-watch the itunes screen for your phone on the left side
-step 5-chose your itunes library when you are asked to on your phone
-step 6-enter code shown on phone into itunes (your phone will be listed under devices on the left side)
hope this helps!!! make sure you always press the eject circle next to your phone name in itunes or else is you just unplug it…it will screw up your phone
