i understand that you have to pay 200 more if you’re upgrading from iPhone 3g. but if you are a customer with a regular phone can you upgrade to 3g s at 200? thanks.

if you have the iphone 3g you signed a new 2 year contract the day you bought it. 18 months from that day you are elligable for an upgrade and only have to pay the 199. if you half way through your contract you have to pay 299 and if your below that you have to pay full price which is 499. however if you have the 3g already almost all of the new features including mms, copy and paste, voice record and landscape keyboard will be updated on your phone when you sync it with the new itunes 3.0 coming out the day the 3g s comes out (june 19) the only difference between the 3g and 3g s after this upgrade is the 3g s is faster downloading and has more memory, video camera with editing, a compass and voice recognition. everything else is the same wait till next year to upgrade when the 4g is suppose to come out.
