i was saving up for an ipod touch but then heard of the new Iphone 3G and now i want to know if the phone can be used for anything unless it is activated (Like the camara, weather, notes, and stocks.) and is the internet wireless or will it only work when its activated unlike the ipod?

You can get internet as long as you get a signal.
This is true for ANY phone. The iPhone just makes it easier to surf the internet.
You will have to activate the 3G iPhone in order to use any of its features. Otherwise you’re stuck at a “connect to iTunes” screen.
first of all of course it only works when it is activated and secondly why would you want to buy the i phone 3g without having service…..? In that case just buy the freakin i touch it is really not worth it to buy and i phone just for the music it is also a cell phone u know

it doesn’t come out until July but like most phones I would think anything internet based, weather, stocks, etc, would have to be activated. But things like camera, ipod etc would not.
It will definitely have to be activated. You cant even get to the main screen, let alone itunes, without it being activated. Sorry =(
The iPhone will only work once its activated.
