Does The Iphone 3g 8gb Require Internet Access?

If I walk into an AT&T store and buy an iPhone 3G will i have to pay for internet access?
To be more specific, will I have to pay for a data plan or anything? Or can I just buy the phone with call/txt coverage?

Yes I does require it! Althought All iphones requiere Internet service.

You have to have the data plan. Some phone reps will remove it in error if you ask them to. But every couple of months they do an audit & will add it right back on. It’s about $30 a month.

Yes you do. If you are on a family plan or something you will have to start a whole new plan to have the iPhone. That’s what they told me I have to do

Yes, the data plan is required which is an extra 30 dollars a month.
