I have an iphone 3g which i just purchased a ringtone for from the itunes store. how do i set this as my default ringtone? (only a certain part of the song Ex: from (0:4, – 0:15)

if you just downloaded the ringtone-ready song, then you need to right click the song in iTunes and select “create ringtone”. then you will be able to modify and create your ringtone. Once you’ve done this you will need to connect your iPhone to your computer and select one of the tabs (i forget which one) and make sure it syncs the ringtones to your iphone and then sync your iphone. Then go on your iphone to settings>>sound>>Ringtone and select your custom ringtone.
