I have an iphone 3g and i used yellowsn0w to unlock it, and i cant pay internet fee, so (using at&t) i just want to make sure its unlocked…

If the iPhone was already activated on the account and you already have the iPhone data plan you will not be able to remove it just because you unlocked the device. The iphone data plan is a required feature per the 2 year service agreement that you signed and the feature must remain on the account for the full duration of the service agreement. AT&T is currently in the process of running a sweep of all iPhone accounts and if that feature is not on the account they are adding it, no questions asked
Well, there isn’t much you can do except trying a T-Mobile sim. Maybe a friend has T-Mobile and you can use their sim momentarily.
