Though there are a number of sites offering apps for the iPhone now, possibly still the best site to head to first of all is the Apple App store. Here is a small selection of some of the best iPhone Apps that you can use to make things just that little bit easier, or more fun for you.
Music fans are particularly well catered for; whether through enjoyment or as a pro. For those just wanting to access music, the Radio app for playing tunes from across the world’s radio stations is ideal. For the enthusiast, the Cleartune instrument tuner app could prove invaluable.
Riding the bus or train to work and want to keep from getting bored? There are several game applications. On “Aera” you can fly old war bi-planes. Make a horrific pizza to feed the angry zombies with “Zombie Pizza.” You can play “Tennis” or an outer space game called “Star Defense.” “Topples 2″ lets you stack colorful blocks that fall from the top of your screen.
Not going to make it home to watch your show on DIRECTV, you can use the “DIRECTV” app to set the DVR at home. In the mood for a Shakespeare play? Download the free “Shakespeare” app. It contains the text of forty plays and a selection of poems and sonnets. You can choose the font and text color. To download or not to download, that is the question!
Do you ride your bike for exercise or work? The “iMapMyRide” app uses the built in GPS to help you track your miles and minutes. If you are picking someone up from the airport you can use the “FlightTrack” to get real-time status of the flight. See if there is a delay or cancellation and see which gate the plane is arriving at.
This is in no way the complete list of iPhone apps that you can use. You can look them up on Apple’s webpage and see which ones you might use. The possibilities are almost endless.
